About LockFit Guide

LockFit Guide helps people in the US figure out whether a retrofit smart lock will work on their door before they order one. The site started with SwitchBot’s Lock Ultra family because its compatibility rules are specific and easy to get wrong.

What we do

• Turn manufacturer compatibility pages into a step-by-step fit check.
• Compare models on what the manufacturer actually publishes: what’s in the box, unlock methods, power, and price.
• Flag what isn’t published, such as a door thickness range, instead of filling the gap with a guess.

What we don’t do

• We don’t test products in person, and we don’t write as if we did. There are no “we tried it” claims on this site.
• We don’t publish star ratings, user reviews, or testimonials.
• We don’t accept payment to rank a product higher.
