Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026
This policy explains what information LockFit Guide (“we”) collects when you use lockfit.enrhythm.jp, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you browse
- Site counts without cookies. When a page loads, our server records the page path, the referring website’s domain, a rough device type (desktop, mobile, tablet), and whether you clicked a store link or used the fit check. To count unique visits per day, we combine your IP address and browser user agent with a random value that changes every day and is deleted after two days, then store only the resulting code. We do not store your IP address, and the code cannot be linked back to you after the day ends.
- Google Analytics (if enabled). Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see how pages are used. We turn off Google Signals and advertising features. See Cookies and your choices.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, topic, and message so we can reply. We store a one-way hash of your IP address to limit spam.
When you use the fit check
Your answers are sent in the page address so the results can be shown. We don’t save your answers with anything that identifies you.
How we use information
To run and improve the site, to understand which guides are useful, to measure which store links are clicked, to reply to messages, and to protect the site from abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Third parties
- Google receives analytics data if you allow analytics cookies. Google may collect information about your activity over time and across websites. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Retailers and affiliate networks. When you click a store link, you leave our site. The retailer and the affiliate network (such as CJ, Awin, or UpPromote) may set their own cookies to track the referral. Their privacy policies apply.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by XServer Inc. in Japan, which processes server logs on our behalf.
Cookies and your choices
Our pages don’t set cookies of their own, except on the contact form, which uses a session cookie to protect the form from forged submissions. Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) are used only for analytics.
- In the United States, Google Analytics is on unless you turn it off. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you allow them.
- You can change your choice at any time with in the footer.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out and keep analytics cookies off, without asking you to do anything else.
- Do Not Track: there is no common standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, so we don’t respond to them differently. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above.
How long we keep information
Raw page counts are deleted after 90 days; daily totals by page are kept. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and for our records, and no longer than three years.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, such as California’s. To make a request, use the contact form and choose “Privacy request”. We won’t treat you differently for making a request.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
Reviewing and correcting your information
If you sent us a message and want it corrected or deleted, contact us and we’ll update or remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll add a notice on the home page for at least 30 days.
