LockFit Guide earns money through affiliate links. When you click a “Check price” or “Paid link” button and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same.

Which links are paid

Buttons that send you to a store are labeled. A button marked “Paid link” is an affiliate link. A button marked “Official store link” goes to the manufacturer’s store without an affiliate arrangement. Links to support articles and compatibility pages are never paid.

We apply to affiliate programs run by networks such as CJ, Awin, and UpPromote. Until a program approves us, store buttons link directly to the manufacturer.

How this affects what we write

• Commissions don’t change the fit check. If a model doesn’t meet a published requirement, we say so even if it would earn us more.
• We point out when a cheaper option, or no smart lock at all, is the better choice for your door.
• We don’t accept payment for placement or for positive coverage.

What we don’t claim

We have not tested these products in person. Our comparisons are based on the manufacturer’s published information. You won’t find hands-on impressions, invented customer quotes, or star ratings here.
